Cellular Abroad has partnered with Lebara Mobile Switzerland - one of the strongest prepaid service providers with SIM card services for 10 European countries - to offer the Lebara Mobile SIM Card for Switzerland to U.S. travelers who need a low-cost service for phone calls, texts and data connectivity. This prepaid service uses the Sunrise network to provide unbeatable coverage across the whole country. Lebara Switzerland offers a few different plans; aside from the standard plan you can add a new 30-day data plan and SMS plan. Since this SIM card also offers data, it is also compatible with iPads and other tablets. During the checkout process you can select a SIM resize option - Micro-SIM for iPad & iPhone 4/4S, or the nano SIM card for iPhone 5 and iPad Mini.
Unlimited Data Plan
New for 2013! You can now buy an unlimited data "Flat" plan from Lebara Switzerland - Purchase an additional CHF 15.00 from Cellular Abroad or from a local Lebara service reseller in Switzerland, and activate the plan by texting the word FLAT to phone number 255. This plan activates 1GB of high-speed data for your service, good for 30 days. Once the initial 1GB of high-speed data has been used, you will still be able to use the internet connection, but at the slower 2G speed.
