The National Geographic Talk Abroad 'Lite' Phone

Jamaica (Digicel) FLEXcard $500 JMD Prepaid Recharge Card
only $24.00 for $500 JMD of talk time credit

Have extra talk time credit to add to your prepaid account as soon as you arrive. Each $500 JMD recharge gives about 24 minutes of calls to the US or Canada or about 25 minutes in Jamaica. Incoming calls are free while in Jamaica.

OUR RECHARGES ARE ONLY INTENDED TO WORK WITH PRODUCTS PURCHASED FROM CELLULAR ABROAD.

Although Digicel recharge cards can be found at convenience stores and gas stations throughout Jamaica, many of our customers like the convenience of having a spare recharge card (or more) available before they arrive in Jamaica. Busy executives, parents who want to make sure their traveling children can always reach them and those who may not be near a typical point of sale find that buying one or more recharge cards from Cellular Abroad makes for a smart investment. If you're running low on talk time late one Jamaican night, you're just a phone call away from a recharge.

It's important to remember that all your incoming calls are free, so you can save a lot of money by having people call you back to your Jamaican number when traveling. Also, since incoming calls are always free, you will always be able to receive calls, even if you've run out of call credit.

Reasons to Buy from Cellular Abroad:

  • Have extra talk time credit to add to your prepaid account as soon as you arrive
  • Each $500 JMD recharge gives about 28 minutes of calls to the US or Canada or about 62 minutes in Jamaica
  • It's the most convenient way to add extra call credits
  • Saves time if a point-of-sale location is not available
  • More talk time is just a phone call away!
  • Our customer service is available 7 days a week
  • Any Cellular Abroad customer can take advantage of phone-in recharges

How to Add Credit to your Prepaid Digicel Account:
As soon as you arrive in Jamaica, simply scratch off the protective panel on the back of the recharge card, follow the instructions on the card to enter the code number and your credit is applied.

To Order by Phone:
You can purchase additional recharge codes (from our Digicel recharge cards) via phone whenever you need to add more call credits to your prepaid account. No need to ship you a card! Just call Cellular Abroad at +1-310-862-7100 and we can sell you as many recharge codes as you need. Our office hours are 8AM to 4PM PST, seven days a week. With your credit card on file and by correctly identifying yourself, we can process your order very quickly. With the extra code(s), you'll be able to add more minutes from anywhere in Jamaica

Service Life:
Please remember that you have 60 days in which to top-up your digiFLEX account after initial activation of the card or 60 days after topping-up your SIM via a FLEXcard or Flex-e-card voucher. If you fail to do this, your account will be deactivated. You will be able to receive calls but will need to top-up in order to make an outgoing call. If your account remains dormant for an additional 60 days, your account will automatically be terminated. To continue using the Digicel service, you would have to purchase a new SIM card and a new number would be provisioned.
