If you experience any technical difficulties with your phone or SIM card and you do not contact Cellular Abroad for technical support by phone or by email during your trip, we cannot offer any refund or compensation.

Dialing information
Your phone needs to be an unlocked dual-band, tri-band or quad-band GSM phone capable of functioning on the 900/1800/1900 MHz GSM band in order to accept the SIM card.

Your Thailand Cell to US: 0011 – area code – phone number
US to Your Thailand Cell: 011 – 66 – 9-digit number (drop the 0 in 9-digit number)
Your Thailand Cell Number to Thailand: area code - phone number
Thailand to Your Thailand Cell Number: area code - phone number

Important: US toll free numbers are not accessible from overseas. Be sure to get valid international numbers prior to your departure.

Please Note: There is no support for service when roaming outside of Thailand.

Rental / Phone Purchase Setup

• The SIM card has been installed
• Make sure the phone is charged and the menu settings are in English.
• You must add the included initial credit voucher upon arrival in Thailand
• To add the credit voucher dial *120* then the 16-digit code, the # sign and press <Yes/Send>. e.g. *120*1234567898765432# SEND
• Your new balance will display on the screen.
• Your first outgoing call will then activate the service

For SIM Card Purchases Only

• Snap out the SIM chip from the SIM card and insert the chip into your GSM Phone with the metal portion facing down as to make contact with the contact prongs.
• If the menu settings do not appear in English consult your phone manual to change the language setting
• If prompted, enter the PIN 0000. To Turn off the PIN feature consult your phone manual
• You must add the included initial credit voucher upon arrival in Thailand
• To add the credit voucher dial *120* the 16-digit code the # sign and press <Yes/Send>. e.g. *120*1234567898765432# SEND
• Your new balance will display on the screen.
• Your first outgoing call will then activate the service

PIN and PUK codes
The PIN (Personal Identification Number) code prevents unauthorized access to the SIM card in your phone. The default PIN is 0000. If you enter the PIN code incorrectly 3 times in a row, the SIM card will be blocked. To un-block the SIM card, you will need to enter the PUK (Personal Unlock Key) code. Please consult your manual for how to disable the PIN-check feature

Checking Your Credit
You may check your remaining credit for free by dialing *121# <Yes/Send>

Purchasing More Talk Time
The most convenient way is by calling Cellular Abroad 001 310-862-7100 or, from Thailand, Toll Free 7 days/week from a landline at 00 800 3623 3333 (English speaking reps). Each $24 vouchers offers approximately 30 minutes of calls to the US or Canada or about 100 minutes within Thailand.

Alternatively, you may add credit locally by purchasing a 1-2-Call call time refill card in Thailand. Recharge vouchers are available in various denominations at any authorized cell phone dealer, convenience store, gas station or other store displaying the 1-2-Call logo.

Recharging Your SIM Card

• Scratch the silver foil off the recharge card to expose a 16-digit number.
• Dial *120* then the 16-digit code, the # sign and and press <Yes/Send>. e.g. *120*1234567898765432# SEND
• Your new balance will display on the screen.

 Warning: Get the 16-digit code wrong four times and the card will be void!

Troubleshooting
If you are unable to make or receive calls switch networks on your phone.  Consult your phone’s manual.  The steps will be like these:

• Menu > Settings/Setup > Network > Available Network/Change Network > Search
• Select a different network carrier than the one currently shown.

If you are receiving no reception bars, emergency calls only, SOS, or no service
check your phones band setting:  Consult your phone’s manual. The steps will be like these:

• Menu > Settings/Setup > Network > Network Setup >Band
• Make sure you select 900/1800/1900

Rates
Rates are expressed in Thai baht and are based on per minute charges.  (Click here for exchange rates.)

All incoming calls are always FREE, regardless of their origin.

Service Life
The 1-2-Call Prepaid SIM Card will expire after 90 days of your last recharge or activation. Adding talk time with a recharge adds 90 days of service from the date of the recharge.

To inquire about the possibility of extending your SIM card’s service life while outside the SIM card’s country of origin, contact the telecom provider's customer service, Cellular Abroad does not provide support for this feature.
