Dialing information
Your phone needs to be an unlocked dual-band, tri-band or quad-band GSM phone capable of functioning on the 900/1800/1900 MHz GSM band in order to accept the SIM card.

Your Thailand Cell to US: 0011 – area code – phone number
US to Your Thailand Cell: 011 – 66 – 9-digit number (drop the 0 in 9-digit number)
Your Thailand Cell Number to Thailand: area code - phone number
Thailand to Your Thailand Cell Number: area code - phone number

Important: US toll free numbers are not accessible from overseas. Be sure to get valid international numbers prior to your departure.

Please Note: There is no support for service when roaming outside of Thailand.

Rental Setup

  • Make sure the phone is charged and the menu settings are in English.

For SIM Card Purchases Only
Snap out the SIM chip from the SIM card and insert the chip into your GSM Phone with the metal portion facing down as to make contact with the contact prongs.

  • Make sure the phone is charged and the menu settings are in English.
  • If prompted, enter the PIN number included with your SIM card.  Turn off your PIN-check feature so that you are not required to enter the PIN code every time you turn on your phone. If unsure how to do this, please consult your phone manual. (Look for "security", "SIM", or "PIN" in the index.)

PIN and PUK codes
The PIN (Personal Identification Number) code prevents unauthorized access to the SIM card in your phone. If you enter the PIN code incorrectly 3 times in a row, the SIM card will be blocked. To un-block the SIM card, you will need to enter the PUK (Personal Unlock Key) code. Please consult your manual for how to disable the PIN-check feature

Activating Your Service

  • Place a call in Thailand to activate your service.

Checking Your Credit
You may check your remaining credit for free by dialing *121# <Yes/Send>

Purchasing More Talk Time
You may add credit to your SIM Card by purchasing a 1-2-Call call time refill card, available in various denominations at any authorized cell phone dealer, convenience store, gas station or other store displaying the 1-2-Call logo.

Recharging Your SIM Card

  • Scratch the silver foil off the recharge card to expose a 13-digit number.
  • Dial 900120 (within Thailand) and press <Yes/Send>.
  • Enter your 13-digit card recharge code.
  • A voice in Thai will now tell you how much credit you have.
