Activating your service:
- You must dial 100 and press the SEND key to activate your service in South Africa.
- You must add the initial recharge voucher code that was included with your package in order to make and receive calls. This is done by dialing 100 from your mobile phone in South Africa and following the voice instructions to enter the Recharge PIN.
Your South Africa SIM Card Cell Phone Number:
Your cellular phone number for South Africa is easily found in your Prepaid SIM Card package. It is written on the back of the SIM package and starts with "07." Your phone number will also be emailed to you by Cellular Abroad after your order has been shipped.
Checking Your Credit:
You can check your account balance anytime, all you have to do is:

Recharging Your SIM Card:
Recharge cards, called the "Vodacom top up voucher" may be purchased in many denominations between 20 and 200 ZAR at many outlets, including convenience stores and gas stations. Even if you have zero credit, since incoming calls are always free, you will still be able to receive calls.
To add talk time, simply follow these easy instructions:
- Scratch off the scratch-off area to expose your unique PIN number.
- Dial *100*01*[PIN]# and press the SEND key
- A message should appear confirming your credit has been added.
