Together with a handset rental, you will also need to purchase prepaid calling time. Recharge cards are readily available in different denominations and allow you to simply and immediately add additional credit to your phone rental. Please note that if you run out of call credit, you can still receive calls but will not be able to call out. Therefore, you should purchase enough recharge vouchers for your trip. Unused vouchers can be returned for a full credit or may be used on your next trip. Pre paid satellite vouchers expire 12 months from the date of the first call. Alternatively, if you need more minutes, please feel free to contact Cellular Abroad via your Satellite rental phone and we can give you a recharge code right over the phone.

Shipping
Cellular Abroad offers round trip next business shipping using standard Fed Ex overnight ($70). Overnight priority shipping is $80. A return shipping label is included in these rates. All satellite phones are shipped fully insured.

You must read, sign and return our Satellite Rental Agreement to us before your rental will be shipped to you.
**Your order will reflect the purchase of airtime vouchers plus a $1500 hold on your credit card to cover the satellite phone rental until it is returned. We will remove the $1500 hold on your credit card minus the fee for the rental period you requested upon the successful return of your rental unit. Please note late fees may be assessed if applicable.

Rental periods commence the date your package is shipped and end the date the rental is dropped off or picked up by Fed Ex for return to Cellular Abroad. Fed Ex tracking information will be used to ascertain drop-off and pick-up dates. We are sorry but rentals cannot be shipped to or from customers overseas.
