The price charged upon checkout is the SECURITY LEASE for your rental ($150 per phone). The SECURITY LEASE covers the initial rental of the handset. Also added is the PURCHASE of your required SIM card. The price of the SIM cards are shown at the bottom of this agreement. They are country specific. You do not need to add them separately into your cart; one will come with each phone in the rental package.
When we receive your rental return, we will refund the SECURITY LEASE to your credit card minus the fee for the rental period (see chart below). You will be given a prepaid label to ship us back the phone. Please note, late fees may be assessed if applicable. The PURCHASED SIM card will be yours to keep, its price is not refundable.
Rental periods will commence on the date of departure and end the date the cellphone rental is dropped off or picked up by FedEx for return to Cellular Abroad. FedEx tracking information will be used to ascertain drop-off and pick-up dates. We are sorry but rentals cannot be shipped to or from customers overseas.
In the event of technical difficulties Renter agrees to contact Cellular Abroad for technical support by phone or by email during the trip, failure to report issues does not allow Cellular Abroad the opportunity to fix said issues, and if not contacted we cannot offer any refund or compensation post trip.
The CANCELLATION FEE for rentals is $25.00 per phone. You may cancel the order before your order is shipped. Shipping costs are due at the time of reserve.
Renter will not be refunded sales tax incurred on the security deposit. This currently only applies to orders shipped to California, USA.
