Your Portugal SIM Card Cell Phone Number:
Your cellular phone number for Portugal is easily found in your Prepaid Portugal SIM Card package. Therefore, you will have your new Portuguese cell phone number prior to your departure.

Activating your service:

• Go to Portugal
• Make sure the TMN SIM card is properly inserted in the cell phone *
• Be sure that battery is charged
• Turn on your phone. Enter your 4 digit PIN number included in the package followed by the "#" key and then press talk or send
• Make an outgoing call in order to activate your service

*Snap out the Portugal SIM chip from the SIM chip holder and insert the chip into your GSM Phone with the metal portion facing down as to make contact with the contact prongs. (You will usually find your phone's SIM tray underneath the battery of your GSM cell phone.)

Recharging Your SIM Card:
Recharge vouchers are available in 5, 10 and 25 denominations at magazine kiosks, MTN outlets and authorized distributors. Denominations are available up to 150 Euros using an ATM within Portugal. In order to add talk time, dial 12043 and follow the instructions. You can change the automatic voice prompts from Portuguese to English by dialing TMN helpdesk 1696 and requesting the change.

Voice Mail:
Voice mail is an included service and it is a free call from your cell phone.

Service Life:
To keep your Portuguese SIM card active, you must make or receive one paid phone call every 3 months and you must add talk time at least once a year.

Multi-Country Travel
