Cellular Abroad SIM Card for Mexico
A SIM Card for Mexico, together with a tri-band or quad-band unlocked GSM cell phone, will allow you to have cellular service in Mexico on a pay as you go basis. The call rates are advantageous and you can even get a US number from your local area code. You can purchase talk time directly from the handset, in the US or in Mexico, toll free, 7 days/week , and with a US credit card. Call credit is available in 10,15, 25, 50, 75 and 100 denominations. The service provider is AT&T and roams on Telcel in Mexico. Telcel is by far the largest Mexican carrier in the country. For your next trip to Mexico, make sure to purchase a prepaid SIM card.

While the AT&T SIM card for The U.S. and Mexico does roam elsewhere, Cellular Abroad does not offer rates nor customer support for this service. If you will need cellular service in other countries, please consider the Talk Abroad SIM card.

"Mexico is horrible when it comes to telephone service.
At the resort we were at, they charge $10 to dial a number, then it was $10 per minute, needless to say, we did the phone card thing, which doesn't make "you" available for folks back home to call!
