Map of Israel

Israel is a country that means everything to so many, a place to look back for the origins of their faith, heritage, and future significance. Although physically smaller than New Jersey, the influence worldwide of this country is unbeatable. It is a place for travelers, a place that teaches and inspires endlessly. Located between Egypt and Lebanon in the Middle East and bordering on the Mediterranean Sea, this is a place of grandeur and simplicity. Israel is the place of origin for great spirits through the ages and a place where great people come to establish themselves.

Jerusalem is often seen as the heart of Israel. Unlike any other place on earth, it is unfathomably significant to so many. A walled city with a history that dates back thousands and thousands of years of being lived in, it is the place considered holy to followers of religions as different as Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. The resulting effect of that statement is that at least one-third of the world's population sees it as a place to be revered.

Visitors rush to the walled Old City, which is a whole world in and of itself seemingly. It is kilometer in four directions of a square and contains a feeling of being within a story, as you hear chanting and inhale smoke along the journey within. Outside the history and old-time feeling within the square, and you are met with a modern city.

Tel Aviv is jokingly compared to the holy purity of Jerusalem as a haven for sin because it's total opposite nature. It is a big city with congestion, but it is a city that comes alive at night. With businesses immersed within the city and commerce and culture running madly within, it is a city that one should experience to understand the reality of life in Israel for those who call it home.

Whether or not you come to Israel seeking roots of spirituality or studies, for business, pleasure, or just for exploration, it is a country with limitless things to teach us. Visitors never leave the country unchanged. Israel is a country completely alive with beauty, history, and an unmatched splendor.
