How much credit will I need?
If you are planning on using a lot of data in one specific country, Cellular Abroad recommends taking a country-specific MiFi rental device. The Talk Abroad service is a premium rate product intended for light internet and email usage. If you are travelling to European countries, here's what you can expect from our service when you rent the MiFi device with one $59.00 recharge:
- 30-60MB of credit
- 1000-2000 emails or
- 100-300 emails with a small attachment or
- 3-6 hours of web surfing or
- 100-300 medium resolution photos or
- 30 minutes of standard-quality streaming video
- 2.5Mbps maximum downspeed (On 3G/HSDPA connection)
