Cellular Abroad's GSM Cell Phones are available in dual-band and tri-band models. A dual band (900 and/or1800 Mhz) cellphone is adequate if you only need service in overseas networks including Europe, Africa, Australia, New Zealand and all of Asia except for Japan. If you desire to use your cellular phone in North America as well as overseas, a tri band cellphone (900/1800/1900 Mhz) is the only choice.

Most companies sell locked cell phones which provide only one SIM card option for use with the phone. Cellular Abroad offers a wide selection of unlocked GSM cell phones, many of which have yet to officially been introduced to the US market, that allow the use of any SIM card, provided the frequency capabilities are appropriate as explained above.
