This simple but very appealing pension type hotel takes up three floors of a mansion between the Siegestor monument, on Leopoldstrasse, and the university. An old glass-door elevator brings you to the fourth-floor reception desk of the simply furnished hotel. Most of the rooms have a view of Arts Academy across the street and are cozy and quaint. This pension has a prime location in the heart of fashionable Lehel part of the city. The Hilton is Frankfurt's newest chain hotel, and exceeds the high standards of Hilton Hotels in terms of providing all the amenities necessary to make your stay comfortable. If you want to enjoy a real German hotel experience, the Hilton, as with most other large chains, is probably not the most suitable hotel in Frankfurt. Hotel Village was at one time a typical brothel near the central train station. Now, although no longer a brothel, the Hotel Village offers 14 old large beds, complete with baldachin and a revolving mirror on the ceiling and thus retains some of its former style.
