Your Finland Cell Phone Number:
Your cellular phone number for Finland is in the package that contains your SIM card. You will have this package, and consequently your cell phone number, prior to your departure.
Activating Your Service:
- Go to Finland
- Make sure your cellphone is fully charged.
- Insert the Finnish SIM card into your GSM phone*. Turn on phone
- Enter Pin 1 Code
- Make a call
- You will automatically be connected to User Service where you will have the option of selecting your language of preference
- You have an initial credit of 40 Euros
*Snap out the SIM chip from the SIM chip holder and insert the chip into your GSM Phone with the metal portion facing down as to make contact with the contact prongs (you will usually find your phone's SIM tray underneath the battery of your GSM cellphone).
Recharging Your SIM Card:
Telia recharge vouchers are readily available at Telia authorized outlets including many convenience stores and magazine kiosks. They are available in denominations of 20 Euro
To reload your SIM card with further talk time, purchase a recharge card and proceed as follows:
- Rub off the gray protective layer
- A 14-digit number will be revealed
- 0800 412 582
- Follow the instructions you hear and press 2 for reloading
You can reload your Finland SIM Card as often as needed.
