*You can find information on renting a phone with this SIM card here.
Installing your SIM chip:
- Make sure your cell phone is fully charged.
- Snap out the SIM chip from the SIM card and insert the chip into your GSM Phone with the metal portion facing down as to make contact with the contact prongs. (You'll usually find your phone's SIM tray underneath the battery of your GSM cell phone.) Turn on phone.
- Enter 4 digit PIN code (which you will find in the SIM Card holder in your SIM package)
Activating the SIM:
- Go to the Czech Republic
- Place a call. Don't forget the area code, even if you are calling within your same area!
Checking your credit:
You can find out how much credit remains on your account by entering a GSM code.
Press *104*# and send. The remaining credit will appear on the display of your
telephone.
Recharging Your SIM Card:
There are a number of ways to recharge your Eurotel pre-paid
account, but the most likely method for non-Czech users will be through recharge
coupons. Eurotel recharge coupons are available at
Eurotel shops and from numerous convenience outlets in the amount of 400 CZK,
800 CZK and 2000 CZK. This can be done both inside and out of the Czech
Republic.
- Dial *102*, your refill code, then #, then hit ok (send)
Customer Service - Problem Solving
For problems with the cellular network or service call *11 from your mobile
phone and then ask to talk to a service representative in English (or ask a
Czech speaking person to call for you.) From abroad, call +420 720 720 720.
For problems with the phone or other hardware, contact Cellular Abroad at +1-310-862-7100 or email support@cellularabroad.com. If you are having a problem and you are unsure who to consult, please call Cellular Abroad or relay a message to us through a contact back in North America, including any alternate phone numbers and best time for you to be reached. Usually there is a simple fix. Our business hours are 8AM to 6PM Pacific Time, seven days a week. During our low-season winter months, we close at 5PM.
Service Life: You must add a minimum of 200 CZK per year to the Eurotel
Prepaid account. After recharging you have one year to use the credit before it
expires. If you do not recharge the card within this time, the SIM card will be
deactivated and the account will be terminated.
Multi-Country Travel
You can also purchase other SIM cards as well for other countries to where you may be traveling. (This option is good for those planning on doing a lot of local calling.) We also offer an international roaming Talk Abroad™ SIM Card that is convenient for travel to multiple countries. (This option is useful for those wanting a single number for use in multiple countries and who will be making more calls back home than locally.)
