• Calls to the US and Canada are 20 Euro cents ( app. 25 US cents per minute) to landlines, and 50 Euro cents ( app. 62 US cents per minute) to mobile phones. International SMS are 25 € cents per message (32 US cents).
• Calls within Belgium are 25 US cents per minute, and SMS are 12 US cents per message.
• Calls to voicemail are free .
• Additional airtime can be purchased at more than 550 Supermarkets and convenience stores, or purchased in advance from Cellular Abroad. €12 recharges can be bought from Cellular Abroad at $19. Credit denominations sold in Belgium are €4, €6, €12, and €24. Just ask the cashier for a recharge and use the printed receipt to add your credit.

Your Belgium SIM Card Cell Phone Number:
Your Belgian phone number is located on the back of the card that you pop the SIM chip out of, above the PUK codes. An example is 048 529 4658.

Activating Your Service:

• Go to Belgium
• Make sure your cellphone is fully charged.
• Insert the Belgium SIM card into your GSM phone*. Turn on phone
• Enter your four digit PIN number (set to 1 1 1 1 by default.)
• Place a call. Don't forget the area code, even if you are calling within your same area!

*Snap out the SIM chip from the SIM chip holder and insert the chip into your GSM Phone with the metal portion facing down as to make contact with the contact prongs (you will usually find your phone's SIM tray underneath the battery of your GSM cell phone).

Checking Your Credit:
There are 2 ways to check your call credit.

1. Send a text message to 1966 with the message “euro.” You will receive a text message back telling you how much credit is on your account.
2. Call 1966 and follow the instructions.

Recharging Your SIM Card:
Airtime for your 1 Mobile SIM card can be purchased in Belgium at “Carrefour” and “GB” stores. Please take the following steps to add credit:

1. Ask the cashier for a 1 Mobile recharge card.
2. Dial 1988 to add your credit, or send a text message to 1988 including the code that the cashier gives you to add the credit (for instance “plus 1234567890”).

As soon as you arrive in Belgium, simply scratch off the protective panel, follow our instructions to enter the code number and your credit is applied. Knowing what the recharge cards look like and how to apply the credit, you're one step ahead and loaded with call credit.

Belgium Prepaid Recharge Card only US$19.00 for €12 of talk time credit Save time by starting your stay in the Belgium with an additional €12 of talk time. Each of these recharges gives about 65 minutes of calls to the US or Canada or to phones in Belgium. Incoming calls are free while at your destination.

Voicemail:
To activate your voicemail in English, send a text message to the number 1987 with "voicemail en" in the body. There is no charge to activate voicemail. To personalize your voicemail and check your messages, dial 1987 and follow the prompts. All calls to voicemail are free.

SMS:
You can send SMS text messages with your Belgium Prepaid SIM Card. Please consult the guide book that accompanies your SIM card package for details in English. International SMS are 25 € cents per message (32 US cents). Domestic SMS are 12 US cents per message

Service Life:
Your call credit will be valid for 6 months from the last outgoing call or SMS message.
