Cellular Abroad SIM Card for Australia
An Australia Prepaid SIM Card, together with a quad-band unlocked GSM cell phone, will allow you to have a local cell phone number for Australia with a local rate plan and data service. The rates are extremely advantageous and even include unlimited FREE incoming calls from anywhere in the world. For your next trip to Australia, make sure to purchase a prepaid SIM card.

iPhone users can now request Micro-SIM Card size Australia SIM cards; add the product to your cart and select the "Micro-SIM Add-on" to have our staff resize your SIM card with a professional Micro-SIM tool. Cutting your SIM card down to fit an iPhone or iPad can be dangerous; you may cut it incorrectly, or cut the gold contacts improperly and invalidate your SIM. Don't trust a Youtube how-to video when Cellular Abroad can guarantee your Micro-SIM will work in your device, or we will replace it at no extra cost.

Whether you are headed to Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney, Canterbury, Queensland, or Victoria; an Australian SIM from Cellular Abroad will help you keep in touch all over the country.

    Recharging Your SIM Card
The easiest way to purchase more talk time is by calling Cellular Abroad +1 310-862-7100 before as well as during your trip. The recharge card is the "Lebara Mobile Pre-Paid Mobile Recharge Card". Or you can find them at outlets including convenience stores and gas stations in Australia.

    Australia Prepaid Recharge Card
only US$19.00 for $10AUD of talk time credit

Save time by starting your stay in the Australia with an additional AUD $10 of talk time. Each of these recharges gives about 200 minutes of calls to the US or Canada or about 50 minutes in Australia (estimated time - excludes AUD $0.29 flagfall costs). Incoming calls are free while at your destination.

    Adding More Talk Time
Even if you have zero credit, since incoming calls are always free, you will still be able to receive calls. To add credit with a recharge code, call 126 123 and follow the prompts to enter your voucher code.

    Troubleshooting
Make sure you have activated your service on the Lebara website. Make sure your phone is on the 900/1800 MHz band settings. If you can receive calls but cannot make calls, this is a sign that you need to add talk time to your account.

    Customer Service

    Service Life
You must recharge your card at least once every 90 days or you will forfeit your Australian cellular number and remaining credit. To inquire about the possibility of extending your SIM card’s service life while outside the SIM card’s country of origin contact the telecom provider's customer service, Cellular Abroad does not provide support for this feature.

    Multi-Country Travel
You can also purchase other SIM cards as well for other countries to where you may be traveling. (This option is good for those planning on doing a lot of local calling.) We also offer an international roaming National Geographic Talk Abroad™ SIM Card that is convenient for travel to multiple countries. (This option is useful for those wanting a single number for use in multiple countries and who will be making more calls back home than locally.)
